This Privacy Policy describes how Cool Connect ("we", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile app, web dashboard, or website at coolconnect.app.
Information we collect
- Account info — name, email, phone number when you register.
- Service address — city/municipality and street address when you book a service.
- Booking history — services booked, dates, times, ratings you leave.
- Payment info — handled by PayMongo. We don't store card or e-wallet credentials.
- Social login data (if you choose Google or Facebook) — name and email from the provider, never your password.
How we use it
- To create and manage your bookings
- To send service confirmations and reminders
- To process the ₱199 booking fee via PayMongo
- To improve our service quality based on your reviews
How we share it
We do not sell your data. We only share with:
- Our technicians — your address, phone, and notes so they can perform the service.
- PayMongo — for processing the booking fee payment.
- Service providers we use — Railway (hosting), Cloudflare R2 (file storage when wired), OneSignal (push notifications when wired).
- Legal requirements — if required by Philippine law.
Your rights
You can:
- View and edit your saved addresses in the app (Profile → Saved addresses)
- Cancel an upcoming booking (pending or confirmed only)
- Request account deletion by emailing hello@coolconnect.app
Data retention
We keep your account and booking history while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove personal identifiers within 30 days but may retain booking records (without name/email) for accounting and tax purposes for up to 5 years as required by Philippine BIR regulations.
Children
Cool Connect is not intended for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and notify you via email or in-app for material changes.
